Key holding Services

Clients with unoccupied premises, or buildings that may be protected by CCTV and/or alarms, may wish to contract to the Shield Security Key-holding services. This may be for the purpose of locking or unlocking their premises as required, or for Shield to act as first emergency response to any incident or alarm activations.

Comprising the most up-to-date and innovative technology, the Shield Security Morse Watchman KEYWATCHER key management system provides the client with the ultimate in key security and the ability to speedily respond to any notified key-holder response.

The Morse Watchman KEYWATCHER system dispenses with outdated key cabinets, lock boxes, unreliable manually written logs and questionable key identification tags. The system works as follows: Each client key contracted to the key-holding agreement has his Company Key [or keys] fitted to a special electronic "smart key" fob. Attached to a steel ring that locks into a colour coded housing with a customized lock washer, The system will release the smart key only to authorised personnel using a recognised unique user code.

The smart keys are individually locked in a hi-tech and sophisticated computerised wall mounted key storage cabinet.

the system will record to a computer essential information on key management. e.g. the date and time that a key was taken and by whom, and similar information on its return. Random keys on view may not be removed by an unauthorised user. Data may be printed out at any time.
