Shield Security Mobile Patrols provide a separate security service for clients with unoccupied premises who may not wish to employ Static security officers. Such clients may have smaller premises or buildings and offices that might be supplemented by their own CCTV system and/or alarms.
The mobile security officer will undertake a contracted number of site visits each night or weekend on average 4 to 6 visits during silent hours, ensuring that the visits are at random times. The service integrity is maintained by the use of latest in electronic patrol clocking system, whereby the mobile patrol inspector will record to the device, the date, precise time, location and number of inspection visits carried out. In addition to the vehicle tracking system the computer record and printout are available to the client or may accompany the Monthly Consolidated Incident Report at the end of each month or immediately, should an incident occur.
A principal function of the mobile patrol service is to provide a fast and reliable backup to any officer on static guarding duties, or another mobile inspector in event of an accident or emergency. A certain number of more senior and experienced mobile patrol inspectors are assigned responsibilities for random and unannounced static sites inspections. Such random visits are undertaken in order to ensure that Security officers are in compliance with company rules and procedures and are carrying out their duties in accordance with the assignment instructions.
