OUTSTANDING AUDIT ACHIEVEMENT

Our assessment score from our recent audit in February 2021 was 117, which puts Shield Security Services in the top 10% of assessed companies

Every year since 2006, we have proudly scored in the highest percentile of SIA Approved Contractors Scheme (ACS) assessed companies – only 25% of all accredited security suppliers achieve this level. Our SIA ACS accreditation also makes us eligible to join ACS Pacesetters, only a small number of companies nationwide are able to become members of ACS Pacesetters. Through this scheme we are able to demonstrate to our customers that we are industry leaders in the security sector and means that we provide outstanding levels of service for our customers and highest possible care for our staff.

There are currently approximately 825 Contract Security Guarding Companies who have achieved ACS accreditation therefore, it is very difficult for the buyers of security services to differentiate between them. The ACS Pacesetters places emphasis on the importance of the annual score, making the tender process for end-users very much simpler.

 

In restricting membership of the ACS Pacesetters to the top 15% of SIA approved security companies, approximately 125 organisations are eligible to join. These companies, both national and regional, have proved they are market leaders in the security guarding industry and are therefore capable of providing an excellent standard of service to their clients and a high degree of care for their employees. As a client, it makes sense to include companies in the top 15% of the ACS scoring system when compiling your tender list.
