Shield Security Services acquires PSK Security

As part of the company’s growth strategy, Shield Security Services has acquired Surrey-based PSK Security, further extending the company’s domestic client base. A formerly-run family business, PSK was headquartered in Ash, on the Surrey/Hampshire border. Serving a predominantly domestic market, PSK had provided keyholding and emergency response services to home owners and businesses since 2009.

The newly acquired business for Shield Security Services has doubled its number of existing key holding sites in the area and has also added to its portfolio of mobile patrol and static site services with PSK’s existing client base.

A part of the acquisition, Shield has worked closely with PSK’s founder and owner, Kevin Josey to ensure a seamless transition for customers. Kevin will continue to work under the Shield brand, providing insight and expertise to further develop the company’s domestic offering.

Kevin said, “I am delighted we have found a great home in Shield for a business which I built over many years. I have been impressed by Shield’s reputation and professionalism; therefore, I’m now excited to be part of the team helping to ensure a smooth transition and to be involved in developing the market for Shield moving forward.”

“Acquiring PSK was an obvious choice for Shield when we were looking to expand our portfolio,” said Bipin Joshi, Strategy Manager, Shield Security. “Having known Kevin and PSK for a number of years; we were pleased to be able to work closely with Kevin to ensure a successful transition of PSK’s services. We are now looking forward to continuing to extend our service offering for home owners in Hampshire, Surrey and our surrounding counties.
